Yuening Wang joined HPA in 2022 as a Quantitative Investment Analyst responsible for supporting the Investment Team across research, portfolio construction & risk management. She utilizes complex mathematical/statistical models to assess risk exposures, confirm qualitative observations, offer unique insights, and increase the Investment Team’s overall efficiency.

Yuening graduated with Honors from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Nutritional Science. A passion for Quantitative Finance led her to the Simon Business School (University of Rochester) where she graduated top of her class with an MS in Finance. She was a member of the Dean’s List and is a lifetime member of the international honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma.

Prior to joining HPA, Yuening applied her quantitative skillsets in various industries and across different roles and multiple countries, working for multinational corporations as well as early-stage startups. She is a huge Marvel Fan, a foodie, and a corgi lover. She enjoys traveling (road trips and national parks), cooking and scootering!
