John began his career with the Blackstone Group within their Private Equity team, then moved to San Diego, CA to work with Ernst & Young and receive his CPA designation. Following his experience in finance, he then started his first company, an employee benefits firm. After scaling the business in a couple years, John was approached by a leading brokerage firm, and sold the business.  John then continued in the Investment Management industry, overseeing hundreds of millions of AUM for an institutional investment manager, Manning & Napier. 

In 2015, John acquired an aerospace manufacturing firm in New York.  He then built the company to over 80 employees and significantly increased all financial metrics. In 2019, John then sold the company to a leading private equity firm and subsequently became Operating Partner of the $250 million platform.   John is also currently owner of a new “eatertainment” venue, Backyard Social, with developments underway in Ft Myers and Sarasota.

John lives in Southwest Florida with his wife and three children.  He enjoys spending time with his family playing sports, boating, and traveling.   John also volunteers with local animal shelters and serves on the board of The Winged Foot Foundation.
